Santas & Santa Faces
Though I am not very well known nowadays for my Santas, early in my woodcarving career I was primarily a Santa carver.

My first couple of years as a professional woodcarver were spent carving alongside of perhaps the best Santa carver in the country, Peter Engler. In fact, my Santa carvings were becoming somewhat of a collector's item before I decided to concentrate on carving Native American themes. Yet every so often I have the urge and time to carve a Santa or Santa face.
